Recording sound with still pictures This function lets you record sound when taking a still picture. Recording starts about 0.5 seconds after the shutter is released and lasts about 4 seconds. When is set to ON, sound is recorded automatically every time you take a picture. Available modes 1 In the top menu, select MODE MENU T CAMERA T T ON, and press . ~ "How to use the menus" (P. 28) ● Press again to exit the menu. Shutter button 4 2 When recording starts, turn the camera microphone towards the source of the sound you want to record. ● The BUSY bar is displayed during recording. Microphone Advanced shooting TIPS • appears on all still pictures and movies that have recorded sound. During playback, sound is output from the speaker.
