Remote Controller-Continued Controlling the AV Receiver To control the AV receiver, press the [RECEIVER] button to select Receiver mode. You can also use the remote controller to control your DVD/BD player, CD player, and other components. See page 88 for more details. C REMOTE MODE/INPUT SELECTOR buttons (50, 90-96) Selects the remote controller modes and the input sources. D Arrow [R]/[X]/[F]/[S] and ENTER buttons Used to select and adjust settings. E SETUP button Used to change settings. F LISTENING MODE buttons (59) Used to select the listening modes. G DIMMER button (51) Adjusts the display brightness. H DISPLAY button (51) Displays information about the current input source. I MUTING button (52) Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver. J VOL [R]/[X] button (50) Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode. K VIDEO button (80) Used to change video settings. L RETURN button Returns to the previous display when changing settings. M AUDIO button (72) Used to change audio settings. When the "Audio TV Out" setting is set to "On" (page 78), this button is disabled. N SLEEP button (52) Used with the Sleep function. ■ Controlling the tuner To control the AV receiver's tuner, press the [TUNER] (or [RECEIVER]) button. You can select AM or FM by pressing the [TUNER] button repeatedly. 1 Arrow [R]/[X] buttons Used to tune into radio stations. 2 D.TUN button (53) Selects the Direct tuning mode. 3 DISPLAY button Displays information about the band, frequency, preset number, and so on. 4 CH +/- button (54) Used to select radio presets. 5 Number buttons (53) Used to select radio stations directly in the Direct tuning mode. Also you can select a preset directly. Note: An Onkyo cassette recorder connected via V can also be controlled in Receiver mode (see page 96). 13
