Using the remote control with other equipment ENGLISH Changing the remote control code Enter a code to operate some equipment Change the code if you find the remote control unintentionally also controls other Panasonic equipment. Do the following to set the remote control code and this unit's remote control mode to the same one. This remote control can operate Panasonic and Technics audio-visual equipment that have remote control sensors. You may need to change the remote control code. It can also operate some other brands of televisions, video cassette recorders, and DVD players. Check the table for the brand and enter the code as follows. ENTER Press to confirm. MENU SETUP RETURN To return to the previous menu/to cancel Change the main unit's mode 1. Enter the SETUP menu. MENU SETUP Press and hold for about 2 seconds. RETURN 2. Select and press [ENTER]. 3. Select and press [ENTER]. 4. Press [-MENU, -SETUP, RETURN] twice to select "EXIT" and press [ENTER]. Change the remote control's code TUNER 5. Press BAND 6. While pressing ENTER , press and hold for about 2 seconds. To restore the code to "1" • On the main unit: In step 3, select "1". • On the remote control: In step 6, while pressing [ENTER], press and hold [1] for about 2 seconds. TV VCR DVD player TV VCR PLAYER DVD ANALOG 6CH Press and hold the button corresponding to the equipment. 0 Enter the first digit. The remote control outputs the on/off signal. If the code is correct, the equipment turns on or off. If it doesn't, try entering another code. 0 Enter the second digit. • Note that this remote control cannot operate some equipment and that it may not be able to perform some operations. • Re-enter the codes after you change the batteries.
