Introduction of advanced hands-free phoning operation Answering a call waiting If while you are talking on the phone another call comes in, the number (or name if it is in your phone book) of the new caller appears on the display to signal that you have a call waiting. You can put the first caller on hold while you answer the call waiting, or you can choose to reject the call. 1 Touch to answer a call waiting. 2 Touch to end the call. # The caller you have been talking to is now on hold. To end the call, both you and your caller need to hang up the phone. # While your callers hold the line, touching switches between callers. Rejecting a call waiting If you would rather not interrupt your current call to answer a call waiting, you can reject it. % Touch to reject a call waiting. # The number you have rejected is not added to the call history list. 1 Important To perform this operation, be sure to park your vehicle and apply the parking brake. 1 Function display Shows the function names. 1 Select Telephone as a source. 2 Touch AV MENU to display MENU. MENU appears on the display. # When AV MENU is not displayed, you can display it by touching the screen. # You can also display MENU by clicking the joystick. 3 Touch FUNCTION to display the function names. Answering a call waiting
If while you are talking on the phone another

your phone book) of the new caller appears on
the display to signal that you have a call wait-
ing. You can put the first caller on hold while
you answer the call waiting, or you can choose
to reject the call.
