09 Controlling the rest of your system Controls for TVs (VSX-D512 only) This remote control can control components after entering the proper codes (see pages 45-46). Use the MULTI CONTROL buttons to select the component. Button (s) Function TV Switches the DTV on or off. Switches the TV or CATV between standby and on. INPUT SELECT Switches the TV input. (Not possible with all models.) CHANNEL Selects channels. +/- VOLUME Adjust the TV volume. +/- TOP MENU Press to display the DTV menu. MENU Select different menus from the DTV functions. Select the menu screen. AUDIO Use to switch DTV audio tracks. GUIDE Use as the GUIDE button for navigating. 4 Use to choose the BLUE commands on a DTV menu. 8 Use to choose the GREEN commands on a DTV menu. 7 Use to choose the RED commands on a DTV menu. ¢ Use to choose the YELLOW commands on a DTV menu. ¡ Press to get information on DTV programs. 3 Switches DTV on or off. 1 Use to select closed captioning with DTV. Number Use to select a specific TV channel. Buttons +10 button Use to add a decimal point when selecting a specific TV channel. ENTER/ DISC Use to enter a channel.
