3. Configuring the Printer for the Network Make the network settings below depending on the network interface you use. • Parallel/USB: Making network settings is not necessary. Go to p.51 "Install- ing the Printer Driver and Software". • Ethernet: Make the settings in p.41 "Ethernet Configuration", and then see p.51 "Installing the Printer Driver and Software". • IEEE 1394: Make the settings in p.45 "IEEE 1394 Configuration", and then see p.51 "Installing the Printer Driver and Software". • Wireless LAN: Make the settings in p.48 "IEEE 802.11b (Wireless LAN) Con- figuration", and then see p.51 "Installing the Printer Driver and Software".
