Removing the i500 from the Desktop Holder To remove the i500 from the desktop holder, pull the handset towards you and then pull out. DO NOT pull straight up, or damage to the power connector on the bottom of the holder may occur. See the illustration below for proper removal. Note: Before you connect the i500 to the desktop/laptop computer, make sure you install the i500 software drivers from the installation CD. PC System Requirements for the PalmTM Desktop Software To install and operate correctly, the PalmTM software must have the following resources: ᮣ Windows® 95, 98, ME, NT, XP, or 2000 ᮣ IBM-Compatible 486 or higher computer ᮣ 8 MB of RAM minimum, 16 MB recommended ᮣ 20 MB of disk space ᮣ VGA or better monitor ᮣ CD-ROM drive ᮣ Mouse ᮣ One available USB port Section 2: Understanding Your Phone 2A: Your PCS Phone - The Basics 28
