Chapter 5. LCD Setup The front panel LCD displays the current time and recording status by default (shown below.) The first line in the LCD indicates Year, Month, Day, Hour, and Minute. The second line indicates the number of active channels/total channels and RAID mode. By using the LCD and the ENTER, and ESC buttons located to the right, you can check the system's status and change some of its settings. ƒ Up and Down Buttons: Used to move between menus, and select letters and numbers in text mode. ƒ Left and Right Buttons: Used to move the cursor in text input mode. ƒ ENTER Button: Moves to the next phase. ƒ ESC Button: When pushed, it moves back to the previous phase. When holding it down for 2 seconds or longer, it moves to the main screen displaying the current time and recording status. Note The buttons are locked when the front panel key Lock is locked. 77
