To answer incoming roaming calls with Call Guard on: 1. Press or . (A message will be displayed notifying you that roaming charges will apply.) 2. Press to proceed while the pop-up message is displayed. - or - Press any key to erase the pop-up message, and then press Options (right softkey) > Answer or Answer:Speaker. Note: If the Call Guard feature is set to On, you need to take extra steps to make and receive roaming calls. Using Data Roam Guard You can set your phone to alert you when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint PCS Network and try to use data services such as messaging. To change your Data Roam Guard settings: ᮣ Select >Settings>Others>Roaming>DataRoamGuard and choose an option: Ⅲ Always Ask displays a pop-up notification when you try to use data services in a roaming area. Ⅲ Never Ask disables pop-up notifications. To access data services with Data Roam Guard activated: 1. When you try using data services in a roaming area, a pop-up notification will appear, indicating that data roaming rates may apply. 2. Press Roam (left softkey) to confirm and proceed.
