Setting the BEEP Switch This camcorder uses a beep sound to help you confirm when you start and stop recording. When the beep switch is turned on, one beep sounds when a recording is started and two beeps when the recording is stopped. Several beeps also sound as a warning of any unusual condition of the camcorder. No beep sounds when the beep switch is turned off.
