How to Record Checking the tape remaining Press TAPE/BATT CHECK. 0 0 IS AEI TAPE/BATT CHECK Tape length indicator The tape length indicator which shows the tape remaining time appears in the viewfinder. (It may take about 20 seconds to display it.) Note on the tape length indicator • The camcorder must be in the recording or playback mode when the TAPE/BATT CHECK is pressed to find out the time remaining.
