Using the Remote Commander Using the Remote Commander, you can be in the p cture with your friends and family while recording, or conveniently control the playback of your tape from a distance. I Insert two size AA (R6) batteries with correct polarity. O 2 Set the Ea REMOTE COMMANDER switch on the battery mounting surface of the camcorder to ON. If the battery is attached, remove it. Reattach the battery after setting the REMOTE COMMANDER switch. • • comOSIgh OFFI ION 3 Set the POWER switch on the camcorder as follows: - When camera recording, 1) press the small green button on the POWER switch and slide it to CAMERA, 2) set the STANDBY switch up. - When playing back, set the POWER switch to VTR. 4 Aim the Remote Commander at the remote sensor of the camcorder and press the appropriate button on the Commander.
