Using Special Effects You can get a professional-looking home video using these special effects: zoom, closeup, fade-in and fade-out. Zooming By zooming, you can change the size of the subject in the scene. Use zooming to focus manually or to decide the shooting angle. Also use "zoom-in (Telephoto)" for dramatic close-ups. Use "zoom-out (Wide-angle)" for panoramic long shots. A common mistake, however, is using zoom-in or zoom-out too often during recording. For natural recording, you may want to set the zoom first and then start recording.
