Hints for effective camera work When shooting sports events from a distance, such as a football game, you would typically zoom from the wide to the telephoto position to catch the one-time events. Even under these circumstances, by using Sports mode, you can get a sharp picture when played back later in the slow or still mode. Notes • Sports mode is effective under sufficient lighting, such as under sunlight.
