Chapter 1: Getting Started Checking the BEEP Switch A beep sounds when you start recording and two beeps sound when you stop recording so that you can confirm the operation. Storing a Birth Date in Your Camcorder When your child's birth date is preset in the camcorder, you can put your child's age, in years and months, on your tape. Fade-in and Fade-out You can fade-in or lade-out to give your recording a professional touch. When fading-in, the picture will gradually appear from black. while increasing the sound.
