Inserting

the

Lithium

Battery

Setting

the

Date

and

Time

To

keep

tale

and

birth

dates

in

the

camcorder's

memory,

as

well

as

to

activate

the

clock,

insert

a

lithium

battery.

Note

that

the

lithium

battery

has

a

positive

(a)

and

a

negative

(—)

sides

as

illustrated

below.

Be

sure

to

install

the

lithium

battery

with

the

positive

(a)

side

lacing

out.

lithium

battery

compartment

located

behind

the

grip

strap.

the

supplied

lithium

battery

with

the

positive

(a.)

side

facing

out.

Close

the

lid.

Lithium

battery

life

The

battery

lasts

for

about

1

year.

When

the

lithium

battery

becomes

weak.

the

itt,

indicator

flashes

in

the

viewfinder

for

about

5

seconds

when

you

set

the

POWER

switch

to

CAMERA.

In

this

case.

replace

the

battery

with

a

Sony

CR2025

or

Duracell

DL

-2025

lithium

battery.

Use

of

any

other

battery

may

present

a

risk

of

tire

or

explosion.

Note

on

replacing

the

lithium

battery

When

replacing

the

lithium

battery,

keep

the

battery

pack

or

other

power

source

attached.

Otherwise.

you

will

need

to

reset

the

date.
