Do not obscure the face by hat, masks, sunglasses, etc. 2 Try to orient the face in front of the camera and be as level as possible. Keep the eyes narrowed. 3 Give a clear smile with an open mouth. The smile is easier to detect when the teeth are showing. • The shutter operates when any person whose face is being detected smiles. • You can select a face to be given priority for smile detection using [Face Detection]. If you select a priority face, Smile Detection is performed only for that face. To perform smile detection for a different face, touch that face (page 68). • If the camera cannot detect a smile, set the Smile Detection Sensitivity to [Slight Smile]. 44GB
