Chapter 5 Enjoying Radio and Other Component Listening to Sound from a Component Connected to LINE IN You can listen to music from an external source if the Unit is connected to another playback component, such as a CD changer, etc. 1 Press the "LINE IN" SELECT on the Home Menu. The LINE IN display appears. 2 Play back the component connected to the Unit. The sound from the component is output via the Unit. You can adjust the volume of the Unit with + VOLUME and - VOLUME on the Unit. To edit the name of the LINE IN source You can change "LINE IN" to something more recognizable and have it displayed on the front panel display. 1 Press and hold the "LINE IN" SELECT. The Text edit Menu appears. 2 Enter the name in the editing text box using the SELECT. See "Naming the Unit" on page 12 for details on how to enter characters. 34US
