Chapter 6 Using the System Network Playing Music on Other Units (continued) Playing back music from "MY MUSIC" When you select "MY MUSIC," audio CDs in other Units and MP3-format music files from your computers are played back. When the Unit has been connected to the Internet via a computer, CD information, such as artist name, album and track titles, or genre, are downloaded from the Gracenote CDDBR server, and sorted into "TITLE," "ARTIST," "ALBUM," and "GENRE." These information appear on the front panel display. You can select and play back desired tracks from these lists. When the Unit is not connected to a computer or your computer is not connected to the Internet, only "TRACK1," "TRACK2," etc., appear on the front panel display. 1 Press the "MY MUSIC" SELECT on the Home Menu. The Browse list appears. Various play mode functions (Shuffle play, Repeat play) "NETWORK" and "MY MUSIC" have two play modes. Shuffle play You can play back tracks in random order. For details on "Shuffle play" see page 21. Repeat play For details on "Repeat play" see page 21. Tip If you select "ALL DISC" during NETWORK playback, the Unit plays tracks on the disc randomly. When the disc finishes, it selects the next disc to be played back at random. 2 Press any SELECT to select a list from "TITLE," "ARTIST," "ALBUM," "GENRE," or "PLAYLIST."* The selected list appears. If you select "TITLE," a Track list appears. Skip to step 4. * If you press "TITLE," "ARTIST," "ALBUM" or "GENRE" SELECT, each list is sorted and appears based on the CDDB information. If you press "PLAYLIST" SELECT, the playlist registered using the Utility In-Wall Unit software on the computer appears. 3 Press any SELECT to select an artist, genre, or a playlist title according to the list you select in step 2. 4 Press any SELECT to select a track to be played back. Playing back music from
MY MUSIC
When you select
MY MUSIC,
audio CDs in other Units
and MP3-format music files from your computers are
played back.
When the Unit has been connected to the Internet via a
computer, CD information, such as artist name, album
and track titles, or genre, are downloaded from the

You can select and play back desired tracks from these
lists. When the Unit is not connected to a computer or

Tip
If you select
