Formatting an "MG Memory Stick" You can initialize an "MG Memory Stick" of a different format or in an unusual condition and make it usable. MENU R dial 1 Display the source list (page 16). 2 Rotate the R dial to select "Memory Stick," then press (MENU). The menu display appears. 3 Rotate the R dial to select "Format," then press the R dial. The confirmation dialog appears. 4 Rotate the R dial to select "OK," then press the R dial. Formatting starts. The normal display appears when formatting is completed. To cancel formatting Select "Cancel" in step 4. Notes • Do not remove an "MG Memory Stick" while formatting. • Formatting erases all data recorded on the "MG Memory Stick." Confirm the contents of the "MG Memory Stick" before you format it. Using Network Walkman Connecting a Network Walkman You can transfer audio files recorded on the HDD to your Network Walkman. You are always with your favorite music by carrying the Network Walkman. Use the digital I/O cable to connect the Network Walkman. For details, see the instruction manual of the Network Walkman. Formatting an “MG Memory
Stick”
You can initialize an “MG Memory Stick” of a
different format or in an unusual condition and
make it usable.

Display the source list (page 16).

Rotate the R dial to select “Memory
Stick,” then press
(MENU)
.
The menu display appears.

Rotate the R dial to select “Format,”
then press the R dial.
The confirmation dialog appears.

Rotate the R dial to select “OK,” then
press the R dial.
Formatting starts.
The normal display appears when formatting
is completed.

Notes
