Help Guide Linear PCM Recorder PCM-D10 Recording at a high S/N ratio (High S/N Mode) You can turn on the High S/N Mode function to suppress noise in low volume recordings when you cannot increase the recording volume for a sound source. The linear PCM recorder has two A/D converters for 1 channel and automatically selects either of the converters suitable for input signals to achieve a high S/N ratio. The High S/N Mode function helps suppress noise even when recording is in progress at a low volume level. 1 Select [ Settings] - [Recording Settings] - [High S/N Mode] from the HOME menu, and then press . 2 Press or to select [ON] or [OFF], and then press . 3 Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu. To return to the screen before you displayed the HOME menu, press STOP. Description of menu items You can select one of the following items: ON: Turns on the High S/N Mode function.
