Help Guide Linear PCM Recorder PCM-D10 Connecting the linear PCM recorder to a computer To exchange files between your linear PCM recorder and a computer, connect the linear PCM recorder to the computer. 1 Connect the USB Type-C port on the linear PCM recorder and the USB port on a running computer using the supplied USB Type-C cable. 2 Make sure the linear PCM recorder is successfully detected by the computer. On the Windows computer, open [Computer] or [PC], and make sure that [PCMRECORDER] or [MEMORY CARD] is detected. On the Mac, make sure that [PCMRECORDER] or [MEMORY CARD] drive appears on the Finder. The linear PCM recorder is detected by the computer as soon as a connection is made. While the linear PCM recorder is connected to the computer, [Connecting] appears on the display window of the linear PCM recorder. Note You cannot charge the rechargeable batteries in your linear PCM recorder by connecting it with a computer.
