Help Guide Linear PCM Recorder PCM-D10 About the peak level indicators indicating the recording volume levels While recording is in progress, the peak level indicators ( ) for the left and right channels light according to the input signal levels. While the -20 dB indicator is lit in green (the recording volume is -20 dB) or the -12 dB indicator is lit in orange (the recording volume is -12 dB), distortion will not occur. If the OVER indicator lights in red (the recording volume exceeds -1 dB), distortion may occur. In such a case, decrease the recording volume level.
