no dot1x port-control Parameter auto | authorized-force | unauthorized-force -- The Control Mode for the port. Auto: In this mode, the port will normally work only after passing the 802.1X Authentication. Authorized-force: In this mode, the port can work normally without passing the 802.1X Authentication. Unauthorized-force: In this mode, the port is forbidden working for its fixed unauthorized status. By default, the Control Mode is auto. Command Mode Interface Configuration Mode(interface ethernet / interface range ethernet) Example Configure the Control Mode for port 1 as authorized-force: TP-LINK(config)# interface ethernet 1 TP-LINK(config-if)# dot1x port-control authorized-force dot1x port-method Description The dot1x port-method command is used to configure the Control Type of IEEE 802.1X for the specified port. To restore to the default configuration, please use no dot1x port-method command. Syntax dot1x port-method { mac-based | port-based } no dot1x port-method Parameter mac-based | port-based --The Control Type for the port. Mac-based: Any client connected to the port should pass the 802.1X Authentication for access. Port-based: All the clients connected to the port can access the network on the condition that any one of the clients has passed the 802.1X Authentication. By default, the Control Type is mas-based. 71
