Statistical Analysis in a Program You can enter statistical data, calculate statistical results, and fit data to models from a program. Entering Stat Data Enter the statistical data directly into lists (Chapter 8) in the program. Statistical Calculations To calculate statistical results or fit data to a model from a program: 1. On a blank line in the program editor, select the type of calculation from the STAT CALC menu. 2. Enter the names of the lists, separated by commas, to use in the calculation. Note: To display a regression equation and coefficients from a program, the regression function must be the last statement in the program. If it is not the last statement, the regression equation will be evaluated and stored, but the results will not be displayed. 9-22 Statistics
