Self Cleaning Built-in DM Oven Care and Use Manual Self Clean Mode Operation • Self-Clean only one oven at a time. • The oven light does not operate during this mode. • Be sure that the time of day clock is displaying the correct time. • Three hours is the preset length of cleaning. • The mode stops automatically at the end of the clean hours. To set the Self Clean mode to start now: 1. For double ovens, select upper or lower oven. You Will See 2. Select SELF CLEAN. Example shows clock set at 5:00. Confirm that the door locks and will not open at the start of the self clean mode. If door does not lock, press OFF and do not self clean; phone (800) 735-4328 for service (see Page 54 for obtaining service.) If the door is in the open position when this mode is selected, the display will flash the word "dor". This is a reminder that the door must be closed before the Self Clean mode can be set. Keep pet birds out of the kitchen or other rooms where kitchen fumes could reach them. During Self Clean mode, fumes that may be harmful to birds are released. Other kitchen fumes, such as from overheating margarines and cooking oils, may also be harmful. 49

REGARDING PET BIRDS
