32 Securing the monitor The security lock slot enables you to connect a security cable (not included) to help prevent unauthorized removal of the monitor. (Sample Illustration) Securing the monitor Follow these steps to secure the monitor: 1 Wrap the cable (purchased separately) through or around some part of a heavy object such as a desk or other large object. Follow the instructions included with your security cable. 2 Pass the locking end through the loop. 3 Insert the lock end of the security cable into the monitor's security lock slot. 4 Turn the key or set the combination on the end of the security cable. Troubleshooting This section provides tips for correcting problems, should any occur. It also describes how to contact Toshiba should you encounter problems that you cannot resolve. Securing the monitor
