4 Replacement Procedures 4.20 System board/HDD cable/DC-IN jack 7. Disconnect the DC-IN jack cable from the connector CN8800 on the system board and remove the DC-IN jack from the slot. DC-IN jack DC-IN jack cable CN8800 Figure 4-39 Removing the system board/HDD cable/DC-IN jack (4) Installing the System board/HDD cable/DC-IN jack To install the system board/HDD cable/DC-IN jack, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-36 to 4-39. 1. Connect the DC-IN jack cable to the connector CN8800 on the system board. 2. Connect the HDD cable to the connector CN1850 on the back of the system board and stick the insulator on the connector. 3. Install the system board to the base assembly. 4. Install the DC-IN jack to slot of the base assembly. 5. Connect the LAN cable and modem cable to the connectors CN4100 and CN3011 on the system board. 6. Place the HDD cable and stick the glass tape in place. 7. Set the HDD cable to the HDD cable holder B. 8. Install the HDD cable holder B (with the HDD cable) on the slot of the base assembly. 9.
