When this device is set to Extender Mode, it adds/extends wireless capability to your existing network. LAN Connection Type LAN IP address If you select Extender Mode, this drop-down list displays. Select Static IP or Dynamic IP (DHCP). If you select Static IP, additional fields display. IP address of the device that is being configured as an Extender.
