TO RECORD A SOURCE TO TAPE OR MD 41 2 1,4 2 1 Select the source to be recorded. Front panel Remote control or 4 When the tape deck or MD recorder is used for recording, you can monitor the sounds being recorded by pressing TAPE/MD MON / EXT. DECODER so that the "TAPE/MD MON" indicator lights up on the display. Front panel Remote control or 2 Play the source and then turn VOLUME up to confirm the input source. Notes • The settings of DSP and VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE and BALANCE have no effect on the material being recorded. • A source that is connected to this unit through digital terminals only cannot be recorded by a tape deck or VCR connected to this unit. • Please check the copyright laws in your country to record from records, compact discs, radio, etc. Recording of copyright material may infringe copyright laws. If you watch a video software that uses scrambled or encoded signals to prevent it from being dubbed, there may be a case that the picture itself will be affected by those signals. 30
