Chapter 13 Firewall The following table describes the labels on this screen. Table 38 Security > Firewall > MAC Filter LABEL DESCRIPTION Enable MAC Filtering Select Enable to turn on MAC address filtering. MAC Address Enter the MAC addresses that are to be whitelisted by the firewall. The entry should be in a valid MAC address format (that is, six hexadecimal character pairs). Example: 12:34:56:78:9a:8c. Do not use colons when entering the MAC address. Comment This field can be used to add identifying information or other notes about MAC addresses in the whitelist or blacklist. Apply Click Apply to save the settings. Reset Click Reset to start configuring this screen afresh. Current Filter Table MAC Address This field shows the list of allowed MAC addresses.
