2. Handling of the components. Phone Do not drop the phone or lay the phone down where liquids could spill on it. Carefully align the phone in the cradle when inserting it to prevent damage. If the phone is placed in the cradle without a battery, calls cannot be made. Place the phone in the cradle only with a battery installed. Cradle Do not place any foreign materials or liquids above the center console. Debris may interfere with the communication link or damage the cradle, phone, or both. Command Module Do not force the switches on the command module. Placing too much pressure on the module could result in an internal component failure and/or physical damage to the components exterior. Console Display Do not suspend liquids above the display or place cups on the dash. Do not apply pressure to the screen. Simply touch the point on the screen that displays your desired command. Telephone Computer If the vehicle battery is disconnected, the telephone computer could lose all the transferred phone book memory. Telephone Antenna Use only the antenna supplied by Lexus.

tery, calls cannot be made.
