SECTION 6 Troubleshooting Item Connection Symptom* I cannot make a phone connection, or it is difficult to make a connection (for an outgoing call, or an incoming call). A different number from the one in the Phone Book is dialed. Solution • Check the signal strength: If the signal is weak, move to a location where the signal level is high (see p. 23). • Check the phone data: If you modified the phone data after transferring the data, you will need to transfer the modified data again (see p. 26-29). • If you receive a call while the screen is not in Telephone mode, "Incoming call" will not appear (see p. 25). • Check the volume (see p. 25). • Check to see if the ring tone has been muted (see the phone instruction manual). *(If the hands free volume is set correctly, then check the master volume setting.) *: All symptoms mentioned here are indicative of the "hands free" mode only.
