Item Screen display Symptom* The telephone screen does not appear. Solution • Check the position of ignition key. When it is set to OFF, no screen will appear. Set the ignition key to ACC or ON (see p.8-10). • Make sure the phone is properly set in cradle (see p. 12). • Make sure Lexus Link is not being used: When Lexus Link is in use, this system cannot be used (see p. 60). The touch switches on the display do not work. • Do not use a fine tipped object (ball-point pen, etc.). • Do not simultaneously touch multiple switches. • If the display is exposed to direct sunlight, the touch switches may not function. • If touch keys are grayed out to prevent them from being used when vehicle is in motion, they will not respond. (Depending on the function, this restriction may be activated while the function is being used.) (see p. 22) When the vehicle moves off, the screen display changes, preventing me from using the system. • Some functions may cause the screen display status to vary when vehicle moves off.
