41 Connecting multimedia devices Your Veriton 5200 series computer comes with multimedia features which allow you to connect such devices as speakers, a microphone, speakers, headphones or earphones, an external CD player and a joystick (for games). Note: The multimedia devices shown below are for your reference only. Actual device models may vary in different countries. Plug the devices in as follows: • microphone: connects to the Mic-in port (pink port) located on the front and rear panel of your computer Note: The system has two microphone-in ports (front and rear). However, you can not use both of them at the same time. The default setting for your system enables the front microphone-in port and disables the one at the back. Refer to the Veriton 5200 series Online guide for instructions on how to enable the rear microphone-in port.

microphone:
connects to the Mic-in port
