Using the Time View 8 8 The Time View provides a centralized representation of the timing for each image used in a script. This chapter covers how to navigate this interface, and how to make adjustments to the timing parameters of each image. About the Time View While the Node View allows you to arrange and adjust the nodes that comprise your composite, the Time View lets you view and arrange the timing of your nodes. Specifically, the Time View displays all image nodes, as well as nodes with more than one input, that appear in your node tree. In the Time View, nodes are displayed as horizontal bars. You can select them and load them into the Viewer or Parameters tab, just as you can in the Node View. In addition, you can also set In and Out points for your clips, as well as shift a clip's start and end frames to change its duration. Finally, the Time View allows you to change the looping behavior of clips in order to extend their duration. To display the Time View, click the Time View tab (on the right side of the Tool tabs). The Time View appears, displaying each node stacked over a second Time Bar that mirrors the Time Bar found at the bottom of the Shake interface. 261

Using the Time View
