Decreasing the cameraDistance value brings the layer closer to the front of the composition, while increasing the cameraDistance pushes the layer farther away. Attached layers move back and forth along the lines that are projected from the camera itself to the four corners of the frustum surrounding the camera target. cameraDistance reduced cameraDistance increased Regardless of how the cameraDistance parameter is set, a layer that's attached to the camera always lines up with the locator points imported from its matching .ma file. Isolating an Element in a MultiPlane Composite

First, duplicate the cityscape image sequence that’s used as the background plate, and

create a rotoshape to isolate the front building.

Next, attach the original cityscape image, the isolated building, and the hot-air balloon

images to a

MultiPlane

node.

They appear within the Images tab as separate layers.
