The Parameters Tab Shortcut Menu The following table lists the options that appear when you right-click the top portion of the Parameters tab. Option Clear Tab Create Local Variable Delete Local Variable Add Notes Reset All Values Description Unloads the current parameters from the tab. Allows you to create a variable specific to a given node. Use this option when you want to link one or more parameters to other parameters. See Tutorial 4, "Working With Expressions," in the Shake 4 Tutorials. Deletes the local variable for the selected parameter. A dedicated local variable in string format. Allows you to add notes to any node (to help you remember what you were thinking at the time). Resets all values in the node to their default state. The following table lists the options that are available when you right-click a parameter. Option Copy Paste Load Expression Save Expression Clear Expression Clear Tab Create Local Variable Delete Local Variable Add Notes Keyboard Description Command-C or Copies the selected nodes onto the Clipboard. Control-C Command-V or Pastes the Clipboard contents into the Node View. You can also Control-V copy nodes from the Node View and paste the nodes into a text document, and copy the text and paste it into the Node View. Loads an expression from disk. The expression should be in Shake format. You can use this if you have a translator for another package's curve types. Saves the current expression as a text file to disk. Clears the current expression. Clears the current parameters from the tab. Allows you to create a variable specific to that node. Use this when you want to drive one or more parameters off of other parameters. See Tutorial 4, "Working With Expressions," in the Shake 4 Tutorials.
