Navigating the Curve Editor, Curve Editor Right-Click Menus

Navigating the Curve Editor There are many controls you can use to move around the Curve Editor. Useful controls for automatically framing curves: • To frame one or more selected curves to the size of the Curve Editor, press F. • To frame all curves to the size of the Curve Editor, press the Home key, or click the Home button. • To frame only the selected curves, click the Frame Selected Curves button. Frame Selected Curves button Home button To pan around within the Curve Editor, do one of the following: m Press the middle mouse button, or Option-click or Alt-click, and drag. m Click the Navigation button, and drag to pan around. Navigation button To zoom into and out of the Curve Editor, do one of the following: m Press the + or - key. m Middle-click or Control-Option-click or Control-Alt-click. m With the pointer over the Navigation button, Control-click and drag. To zoom the Curve Editor tab to take up the full screen: m Press the Space bar. Curve Editor Right-Click Menus The shortcut menu within the Curve Editor has many controls you can use to manage curve visibility, and other options for curve editing. Shortcut Menu Add All Curves Remove Curves Visibility > Hide Curves Visibility > Show Curves Description Keyboard Adds all animated curves into the Curve Editor. Removes selected curves from the Curve Editor. Delete or Backspace Does not delete the animation. Turns off visibility of selected curves. You can also toggle visibility in the parameters list.
