Scan Density and Original Type Settings You can set the scan density and select the original type before scanning the original. Manual Density Adjustment You can manually adjust the scan density to the most appropriate level for the 2 original. Send and Receive Methods 1 Place your originals ➞ specify the destination. If necessary, see the screen shot in step 2 of "Specifying the Document Size," on p. 2-5. 3 Press [Light] or [Dark] to adjust the scan density ➞ press [OK]. Press [Light] to move the indicator to the left to make the density lighter, or press [Dark] to move it to the right to make the density darker.
