Switching Temporarily to Tone Dialing Many information services for banks, airline reservations, hotel reservations, etc., require tone dialing for their services. If your unit is connected to a rotary pulse line, follow this procedure to set the unit temporarily for tone dialing. Hook 1. Press Hook. TEL= I You can also lift the handset of the telephone connected to your unit instead of pressing Hook. I You can adjust the volume of the speaker (see LINE MONITOR VOL on page 7-7). dialing for their services. If your unit is connected to a rotary pulse line, follow this procedure to
set the unit temporarily for tone dialing.
