Connecting the Camera to a Computer • Please see How to Open the Terminal Cover (pp. 13, 16). • Insert the interface cable until it clicks into place. • Treat the connector area with great care while you attach and remove the interface cable. • Always grasp the connector's sides to remove the interface cable from the camera's DIGITAL terminal. 3 Set the mode switch to (Playback). 4 Press the ON/OFF button until the power lamp lights green. • Windows: Proceed to step 5 below. • Macintosh: Refer to the Software Starter Guide and download images. 5 Select [Canon CameraWindow] in the event dialog that appears on the computer and click [OK] (first time only). If the event dialog fails to appear, click the [Start] menu, and select
[Programs] or [All Programs], followed by [Canon Utilities],
[CameraWindow], and [CameraWindow].
