Basic Functions Selecting Menus and Settings Menus are used to adjust shooting and playback settings, as well as other camera settings like the Date/Time and sounds. Menus are displayed by pressing the FUNC./SET or MENU button according to the circumstances. Use the following procedures to select settings. Selecting Menu Settings with the FUNC./SET Button (Shooting Mode only) 1 Slide the mode switch to (Shooting) or (Movie). 2 Press the FUNC./SET button. 3 Use the or button to select an item. Please see the FUNC. Menu topic on the next page for the selectable menu items. 4 Use the or button to select an option. • Some menu items allow you to make further settings by pressing the MENU button. • You can shoot right after performing these steps. The menu displays again after the shot, allowing you to change the settings easily. 5 Press the FUNC./SET button. 49
