Compaq ProLiant Servers A primary component of any cluster is the server. Each Compaq Parallel Database Cluster Model PDC/O5000 consists of cluster nodes in which each node is a Compaq ProLiant server. With some exceptions, all nodes in a PDC/O5000 must be identical in model. In addition, all components common to all nodes in a cluster, such as memory, number of CPUs, and the interconnect adapters, should be identical and identically configured. NOTE: Certain restrictions apply to the server models and server configurations that are supported by the Compaq Parallel Database Cluster.
