Steps 1. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board, if applicable. 2. Remove the four screws (M2x4) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly. 3. Remove the three screws (M2x3) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly. 4. Lift the battery up, and then remove it from the palm-rest assembly.
