This command also places you in the ROUTE-MAP mode. Syntax route-map map-name [permit | deny] [sequence-number] Parameters map-name permit deny sequence-number Enter a text string of up to 140 characters to name the route map for easy identification. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword permit to set the route map default as permit. If no keyword is specified, the default is permit. (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword deny to set the route map default as deny. (OPTIONAL) Enter a number to identify the route map for editing and sequencing with other route maps. You are prompted for a sequence number if there are multiple instances of the route map. Range: 1 to 65535. Defaults Not configured If no keyword (permit or deny) is defined for the route map, the permit action is the default.
