Removing the Processor

Remove the:

hard drive
b.
cover
3.
Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:

Press the release lever down [1].
b.
Move the lever outward to release it from the retention hook that secures it [2].
c.
Lift the processor cover and remove the processor from its socket [3].
