Replacing the WLAN Card 1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 2 Remove the computer cover (see "Replacing the Computer Cover" on page 11). 3 Remove the top shield (see "Replacing the Top Shield" on page 15). 4 Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card and release the WLAN card by removing the two screws securing the card. 5 Lift the card out of its system board connector. 1 2 3 Replacing Cards 25

Replacing the WLAN Card

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page9.

Remove the computer cover (see "Replacing the Computer Cover" on
page 11).

Remove the top shield (see "Replacing the Top Shield" on page 15).

Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card and release the
WLAN card by removing the two screws securing the card.

Lift the card out of its system board connector.
