Image graininess
The image graininess is poor in
all print modes or the image looks
rough.
Improper
adjustment, Main
board or Head
1.
Check that PG, Bi-D and Head tilt adjustments have been made
properly.
1.
Make adjustments according to the specified
adjustment priority.
2.
If Bi-D displacements occur after the above
adjustments have been made according to the
specified adjustment priority, replace the Main
board.
The image graininess is poor only
in the 2880dpi print modes or the
image looks rough.
1.
After making sure that PG, Bi-D and Head tilt adjustments have
been made correctly, check whether pixel shift adjustment has
been performed properly.

Make adjustments according to the specified
adjustment priority.
2.
If the graininess of the image is not improved
