The color ribbon angle may need adjusting. Move the color ribbon adjustment lever to change the ribbon angle slightly as shown below: Move the lever towards "+" to increase the angle, or towards "-" to decrease it. The ribbon is too much slack, or the colors in the ribbon may be bleeding slightly at the color borders. Stop printing turn off the printer, and reinstall the ribbon cartridge. Printing may also be improved by adjusting the color ribbon adjustment lever as described above.
